Excavation- Due to wooden foundation sensitivity we hand dug the perimeter of the house. This mitigated digging pressure against the foundation wall. We did use an excavator to dig the french drain line away from the house only.
Waterproofing- Applied Henry's Blueskin Adhesive/Primer over Concrete Footer and Marine Grade Plywood. Covered the primer with WP-200 Waterproofing Membrane System (Blueskin) and Caulked all edges with Henry 925-BES Caulking.
French Drain System- Graded a socked 4" perforated French Drain Pipe over 20ft from the house. Laying the drain pipe graded next to the footer in a bed of drain rock wrapped high end landscaping fabric over 24" thick system with a 2" piece of R10 foam 16" below grade. Insulation- Using Styro-Industries Aggregate Covered R-10 Panels installed in a custom made J-channel of matching brown metal.
Site Grading & Backfill- Using a skid steer we carefully backed filled compacted each layer and graded the yard at a 2-5% grade away from the house.
